Our Whipped Illuminating Tallow is naturally temperature sensitive and may soften or melt during warm weather shipping.
If melting occurs, the air incorporated into the tallow during whipping may escape, causing your jar to look less full and the texture to become denser or slightly separated. The product is still there, it has simply lost its whipped volume.
Please track your package and bring it inside promptly after delivery. If your tallow arrives warm or melted, keep the jar upright and allow it to cool before opening.

HOW TO RE-WHIP YOUR WHIPPED ILLUMINATING TALLOW
Because our Whipped Illuminating Tallow is beautifully natural and made without synthetic stabilizers, warm temperatures during shipping may cause it to soften or melt and lose some of its light, airy volume.
If this happens, don’t worry. Your tallow has simply lost the air that creates its beautiful whipped texture.
To re-whip your tallow:
- Keep your tallow at room temperature and allow it to naturally return to a soft, creamy consistency.
- Using a clean, dry spoon or spatula, transfer the tallow into a clean, dry mixing bowl.
- Once the tallow is soft but no longer liquid, use a clean hand mixer to whip until it becomes light, creamy and airy again.
- Spoon your freshly whipped tallow back into its clean, dry jar.
- Store at a comfortable room temperature, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Whipping incorporates air back into the formula, so your tallow will naturally regain some of the beautiful volume that may have been lost during melting.
Always keep your hands, tools, bowl and jar completely clean and dry. Avoid introducing water into your tallow.
