Hi. My name is Katie Slanina, and I am the owner and founder of Skintuition.

When I was 17 I found myself dealing with a sudden onset of severe acne. At one particular facial appointment, I met an Esthetician that was able to clear my skin. She took the time to educate me about the root cause of my acne, and how to care for my skin from the inside out. She explained that what I put into my body was equally as important as what I put on it. She cautioned me against buying into all the beauty industry propaganda and to focus on natural products and a healthy diet.

The ordeal and the simplicity of the solution had such a big impact on me that within 4 months I was a licensed Esthetician. I have now spent the last 28 years studying the skin and body. My main focus is to work with my clients on detoxification, healing, repair, root cause problems, and to start trusting nature more.

Because of this philosophy, I have always felt like a salmon going opposite direction of the main stream media. The beauty industry markets mass consumption and instant gratification with injections and chemicals that eventually cause sensitivities and thinning of the outer layers of skin. That is why I've spent years working with some of the best Holistic skin care brands and now their labs, to find products that are clean and properly sourced. I have dreamt of creating an effective line that heals from within, leaving out the harsh chemicals that traumatize your skin. I am proud to say that now I finally have a full line that embodies everything I truly believe in!
